Project Name (Team Size), Role:   Pick Release Process Enhancments Apps - 12i (2), Senior QA Engineer.

 

It is enhanced feature to increase through put of Pick Release process (which is in Apps -11510). The delivery lines will be picked based on a batch size and released to warehouse, only the item-Org combination forms a batch size to pick up the material from the warehouse to avoid locking when may pickers picks the material. Cross docking enhancement feature enable user to reserve the planned receipt material against the demand.

 

July 04 - Feb 05

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  ,Testing of INV/WMS Inbound/Outbound features Apps11510 - (7), Senior QA Engineer

 

Various Inbound features like ASN Receipt, ASBN Receipt, Normal PO Receipts with various routings were explored, Inventory Open Interface is also explored to populate data into application using Interface tables. Consigned Inventory Transactions, Multi level cartonization, Oubound Flow Sequence, Various transactions like cycle counting, Replenishment Transactions, Rules Engine enhancements were extensively explored.

Intercompany Invoicing, The Purchase Order will be created in one Organization and the purchase invoice will be handled by different Orgnaization, Pricing converstions across orgs were taken into consideration. Similary An Organization can raise a Sales Invoices for different sources of Demand or Sales Orders.

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  Verifying the (APPS 11510) bugs in INV/WMS Product(7), Quality Assurance Engineer

 

Verifying the Product with the list of bugs assigned in Warehouse Managment Product and Inventory Management. Various Inbound processes are explorerd to test the product, Mobile supply chain managment was also explored.

This Product is developed to move the data from one version to another upgraded Version of Baan. The Data base schemas were analysed between these two products to move the data from lower version to upgraded Version.

Scheduling Jobs, Monitoring and maintaining the production process Trouble shoot the problems in Application and UNIX Shell scripts whenever they arias, to avoid delays in the Production process.

This Product is developed in order to access the Baan applications from WebTop2.0, Various Business Object Interfaces have been changed and some new business Object Interfaces have been implemented in BaanVc, The data could be entered into Baan application via web, Or Oracle application through web.

 

April 02 - November 02

Project Name (Team Size), Role: iBaan Payments Manager1.0 (8), Module Leader

 

Credit Card processing and Customer/Supplier Aging Analysis has been developed. Baan Business Object Interfaces have been implemented to access BaanIVc4 and BaanVc from Web application. These Business Object Interfaces have been implemented using Visual basic, Baan Open World Technology, SQL/PLSQL, and XML, Oracle8.0

 

October 01 - April 02

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  Withholding Tax (2), Design/Support Engineer

 

Withholding tax concept is developed to a customer in Philippians country. Tax will be applied at the payment time on the Payment amount not on the Invoice amount. (Applying tax at the payment amount makes the difference). Multi site has been implemented and tested at customer site and given support for the customer being in China for certain period

 

August 01- October 01

Project Name (Team Size), Role: Sales and UseTax for Boeing Customer (20), Development/Support Engineer

 

Countable number of calls was solved related to the BaaN functionality Sales and Use Tax, and North American Tax handling. The solutions were delivered on time without any delays. Support to the customer was given from Nether Lands.

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  Trade Notes Payable/Receivable Concept (40), Development Engineer

 

Trade notes Payable, Trade Notes Receivables, Fast cash and Bank Statements. Payment Process has been developed to pay or get money from supplier or customer. Electronic Bank statements would be processed in the system and the invoices would get updated with the payment information.

 

December 00- June 01

Project Name (Team Size), Role: Support/Maintenance (Team size 2), Support Engineer

 

Customer Calls were Resolved in Finance, Distribution and Manufacturing packages in Baan IV, Baan Vb and Baan Vc, Customer calls should be resolved and the solutions should be delivered with in the given hours/days. In this Project 100% attention was needed to resolve the problem of Customer to avoid delays in their production process.

Project Name (Team Size), Role: Warehouse Management, Pricing Module (20), and Design Engineer/Development Engineer

 

Purchase orders can be used directly to generate invoices; in this case the Purchase Order should be Selfbilled Purchase Orders. The advantage of this project is to avoid the warehouse processing. The Requirement Goods received but not yet Invoiced has been developed to identify the Purchase orders, whose goods are received, but not yet invoiced.

Project Name (Team Size), Role: Mondriaan the new reporting tool (40), Development Engineer

             

It is a financial data-reporting tool; management needs many multi dimentional reports to assess their invoices. It is a generic product that supports all Baan ERP Products (BaanIV, BaanVc, and BaanVb). Baan financial data would be displayed on the web in multi dimensions; the following software is used to implement the project Java, JavaScript, servlets, SQL/PLSQL, and XML. FACT files have been implemented to segregate data like data warehousing

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  Ledger Balance Management/ Offsetting  (40), Topic Owner/Development Engineer

 

Ledger Balance Management

Ledger History would be updated while doing transactions, Different views are implemented to view the Ledger history by daily/monthly basis, by Customer/Supplier basis, and based on transaction /document basis

Trade Notes Payable

Customer agrees to pay the amount due on certain dates either through the bank or through the Trade Notes. The Trade Notes can be deposited to bank, endorsed as payment to a supplier, dishonoured Trade Notes by the customer can be rejected, and various steps in Trade Notes Payment have been developed.

Offsetting

Business Partner (Customer/Supplier) plays the role of a Supplier and Customer.  Offsetting the payments is developed for such type of Business Partners. Offsetting the payment amount and Receipt Amount. Due to this process the number of Bank transactions would be reduced.

 

March 99 - January 00

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  Country wise Tax Handling, 14 countries (40), Development Engineer

 

Tax Functionality for European countries, e.g., The Libro Geornale concept; at certain period the transactions should be freezed (it is different from Period closing). Customer can enter the transaction even if the transactions are freezed. Using Section code this concept has been implemented. Multilevel taxes handling, multiple tax handling, withholding tax and social contribution tax concepts also have been implemented.

Identifying the help text code, identifying the Technical documentation for the table fields and identifying the customization codes related to the various requirements, BaanVb, SQL/PLSQL

Project Name (Team Size), Role:  Localizing the ERP Product, 14 Countries (50), and Development Engineer

 

European tax handling was developed for this project. Several levels of tax deductions functionality and bank code checking functionality is implemented. Calendar maintaining, Logistics tables maintaining, Currencies and Enterprise Modelling Management was developed. In this project Fiscal details were developed for some countries.
